11 Mar Vincent J. Graffeo Obtains Business Research Toolkit Certificate from UAB
March 11, 2019 – Vincent J. Graffeo completed the Business Research Toolkit Certification Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham UAB for the Spring 2019 semester. The Business Research Toolkit Certificate is an intensive 7-week program that teaches advanced business research skills across many topics using a variety of online databases and websites. As an Adjunct Instructor in the Collat School of Business at UAB, V. J. Graffeo recently completed the program to strengthen his classroom instruction and enhance his service capabilities for his legal clients by deepening his research skills. “Having a strong ability to harness and analyze business information efficiently is crucial to delivering knowledge-based services. UAB’s Business Research Toolkit Program teaches its participants the fundamentals of business intelligence through the use of sophisticated databases and publicly available government resources,” explained Graffeo.
V. J. Graffeo holds an MBA with a finance concentration (2018) from UAB’s Collat School of Business. Created in 2010, the UAB’s Business Research Toolkit Program was developed to meet the business research needs of students, faculty, and staff across campus. The program covers specific areas of business research including: the research process, company research, industry research, advanced news searching, demographics & business statistics, and international research. The program now includes a module designed to cover all aspects of academic dishonesty.
